We are a local company with local values

Domusea was formed in 2013. However, we have been building and constructing houses in Chichester since 2002. We work with local architects and builders to ensure the best possible product focusing on sites ranging from 5-50 units. These sites are often too small for national developers and sometimes require a higher level of community engagement.

It is this kind of process that Domusea specialises in.

100 planning applications submitted

167 slow worms rehomed

4 million bricks laid

2000 plants planted

4 planned developments for 2022

1 four legged team member

I made my decision in my own time. When I’d decided to go ahead I had every confidence in Domusea. I’m delighted with the outcome.

Case Studies

Church Barton Farm, Pagham

Domusea were instructed to promote this farm as an allocation site within the emerging Local Plan. The vision with this land was to create an exemplary development that meets the aspirations and needs of the local community, whilst respecting the characteristics of the surrounding area and local landscape. The scheme was prepared to ensure it was environmentally sensitive offering enhancements to the landscape character and creating informal open spaces. Through careful design the development will provide a strong and balanced community, offering a wide range of housing types and tenures including affordable homes that meet housing need and demand in Pagham.

“Domusea was instructed in December 2016, and a planning application were submitted in February 2017.”

Progress Garage, Walberton

Domusea worked hard with Arun District Council to ensure that this old petrol station site could provide a small yet essential contribution to the housing need within Walberton. The site was allocated through the Neighbourhood Plan process, and through extensive consultation with local residents and the Parish Council Domusea was able to present a scheme that received complete support from the local community.

“Domusea were instructed in October 2016 and an application was submitted in December 2016.”

People become house builders through building houses, harp players through playing the harp. We grow to be just by doing things which are just.
